When was the business founded?: Perfect Nanny Match was founded in 2012, by myself.
How did your business come to be?: I have been a professional nanny for over 8 years. I realized there was a huge need for having someone else, help busy Mom and Dad's find caregivers for their family, and homes. Even though there are great websites out there to help parent's search for nannies, babysitters, housekeepers etc, you still have to spend hours upon hours emailing back and forth, going through applications, calling references, interviewing in person etc. This takes a lot of time, precious time to busy parents, who just want to spend time with their kids. Perfect Nanny Match is designed to take the guess work out of finding quality caregivers. We listen to what the parents want, what they don't want, and when they need it. We then go through our database of already interviewed, already background checked caregivers, and find the Perfect Nanny Match!
Why did you choose to locate to Farmington Hills?: Perfect Nanny Match is based in Farmington, but we service Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties. We find that the people directly in, and around the Farmington area are in need of our services, and have been extremely cooperative in help building up our business.
What kind of services do you offer?: We offer match-making services for nannies, babysitters, housekeepers, tutors, pet sitters, dog walkers, house sitters, elderly caregivers, house managers, infant care specialists and pretty much anything else related to domestic services.
What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: Our prices are what makes us stand out. Not only are you getting a guaranteed match within 2 weeks, but you also will have between 30 and 60 days to try out your new match, and make sure everything is going to work out. If the parents, or the caregiver was unhappy for whatever reason within the first month (for part time placements) or two months (for full time placements) Perfect Nanny Match will find you a replacement caregivers, or job free of charge. We never charge a fee to our caregivers. We always background check each caregiver before matching them. Our prices are a fourth of other household agencies out there. The whole point of this business is to help busy Mom and Dad's but also be reasonable in price.
What do you want your business to be best known for?: I want my business to be best known for customer service. Each one of my clients gets a complimentary phone consultation, and in-person interview with the whole family, and on going support throughout the duration of their match. We make sure that if families (or caregivers) have any questions or concerns during their match, they have someone to consult with. I am always ready and willing to help work out issues, find a last minute sitter, or just hear about fun activities nannies are experiencing with their charges.
What's your most popular product or service?: The most popular service so far is our part-time nanny placement. Many Mom's in this area only need between 10-35 hours a week for their children. Our fee schedule is conducive to this need, simply because it's worth it to have someone else find you a match, background check them, call all references etc, and hand deliver you the name and contact info. Many Mom's are finding that just having a few hours of help in the week really alleviates the stress daily life brings, and leaves them with more time to spend with their family!
