Botsford Hospital moves two more outpatient rehab centers
Botsford Hospital's Professional Center South building will become the new home this month for two outpatient departments: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The address for both will be 28100 Grand River, Suite 210, Farmington Hills, MI, 48336. The community will have an opportunity to tour this new location at an upcoming open house.
"We are eagerly looking forward to moving to our new location," said Narendra Kumar Sanath Kumar, DPT, Botsford's director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. "Our primary reasons for these moves are enhancing integration with our physician practices and raising customer satisfaction. With services adjacent to physician practices, clients will benefit from our new convenient location. The renovated center will offer traditional PT, OT, and speech therapy services as well as specialty programs, such as Xbox therapy, lymphedema services, pulmonary function tests, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Our aim is to continue to provide excellent customer care. We even welcome walk-in appointments."
PMR is exiting its former location on the ground floor of the hospital into newly redesigned space on the hospital's campus. Patient appointments for PMR will begin on September 9 here. Hours: Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PM&R’s phone number remains (248) 471-8648.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is moving from Redford to its new space on the hospital campus. On September 16, all pulmonary rehabilitation appointments will be in the new location. Pulmonary Rehab's hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Its new phone number will be (248) 471-8647.
