Do not use Gateway Travel and especially not Roseann Konke. First, we were overcharged on the agreed wedding package price. Roseann did not tell us this, the bride did, who should not have to worry about this kind of thing. We have to await a check in the mail. Roseann did not respond to my email to confirm the amount or timeframe for our refund. Poor communication and follow through on her behalf. Second, we arrive for our scheduled flight to learn that we missed it because we were not notified of the flight change. Sure we should have checked on this ourselves in advance, but this is part of Roseann's duty to inform her customers since the Gateway website clearly says the company is "dedicated to planning and EXECUTING the perfect travel experience." She did not do her job in execution. This is costing us time, money, and frustration, but has no impact on Roseann. It is unclear to me how Gateway Travel wins awards by employing someone such as Roseann. Third, she did not offer to help with any additional concierge services that Gateway agents are expected to, according to their website "about us." It is not my duty to solicit for communication, discounts, and services... It was to be my disappointing agents job. I will never use this agency again and plan to spread the word to avoid other wonderful people from going through this frustrating experience.
