J.R. THOMPSON COMPANY NAMES YETTER CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

J.R. Thompson Company (JRT) has announced the appointment of Farmington Hills resident, Jim Yetter, to the newly-created position of Chief Marketing Officer at the Farmington Hills-based creative marketing communications firm.

Yetter served as a consultant to JRT starting in 2010, following a 22-year career at Chrysler Group, where he filled numerous roles at the automaker, including Director – Dodge Brand Global Communications, and Senior Executive – New Vehicle Launches. As Chief Marketing Officer at JRT, Yetter will spearhead all marketing and strategic planning, lead initiatives to strengthen the level of services provided to support the agency’s client roster and work to increase awareness of the core strengths of the company. Yetter, who holds a master’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University, will also help lead and assist in driving new business development at the firm.
