Michigan-based Publishing Company Connects Local Brides with Local Vendors in Distinctive Directories

Michigan brides-to-be now have another unique, detailed and localized resource guide available for planning their dream wedding. Michigan-based publishing company, GRB Ventures Publications, has just launched its newest title, Detroit Wedding Day. This adds to the company’s long-standing portfolio of elegant wedding magazines that includes Grand Rapids Bride, Lansing Bride, and Kalamazoo Bride. These magazines - and corresponding websites - are designed to be a valuable resource guide for brides by connecting them with respected, local wedding professionals in an organized format.

GRB Ventures takes pride in producing these unique magazines that are different from the traditional bridal magazines that may offer relevant editorial content, but not enough detailed information on service-providers. All four publications are formatted in a highly organized manner, making it easy for brides to learn about Michigan-based vendor services, pricing and capabilities. They have proven to save brides hours of valuable time by helping them “pre-screen” potential wedding partners quickly and efficiently.

GRB Ventures’ magazines are not only valuable resources to Michigan brides-to-be, but also they have proven to be extremely beneficial for local advertisers as well. The magazines provide more comprehensive information about its advertisers than any other publication in Michigan. Additionally, GRB Ventures is a small business with minimal overhead, allowing it to offer remarkably affordable and effective advertising opportunities for wedding service-providers.

Managing Partner Jake Stroburg thinks this is a big reason for the recent 50% increase in local advertisers. “Local advertisers seem to appreciate our value,” says Stroburg. “We have increased our distribution by more than 75% over the last couple of years, so our advertisers are able to get in front of more brides, while keeping their investment down.”

Stroburg goes on to say the company’s focus on Michigan partnerships has helped establish its credibility in the state. “Our recent move into the Detroit market was probably easier for us because we are a Michigan-based company and understand how business works here,” he says. “Our magazines offer a smart and efficient outlet for local advertisers, so, from a brand-alliance perspective, we make sense to our Michigan partners.”
