5 Things You Should Know This Weekend – Dec. 23-25, 2011

Winter and spring collide on our calendar of activities in Farmington and Farmington Hills.

We may be at the beginning of winter, but there's a little bit of spring on our calendar of events for this holiday weekend:

1. The weather

Believe it or not, there's a chance of snow in the forecast for Christmas Day. According to the National Weather Service, the rest of the weekend will be partly or mostly sunny during the day, with cloudy nights. Highs will range in the mid- to upper 30s, lows in the upper 20s.

2.

It may be a little difficult to imagine warm weather right now, but it's time to start thinking about youth baseball. Online registration is open for NFWB (North Farmington-West Bloomfield) Baseball, a league that provides baseball, softball and T-ball programs in West Bloomfield and Farmington Hills. Visit nfwb.com to learn more.

We've even to help you take the best possible photos.

5. Look ahead:
