5 Things You Should Know This Weekend - Feb. 24-26, 2012

There's a snowy forecast and a free concert at the library on our list of things you should know about the next few days:

1. The weather

Snow will continue through today and into tonight, the National Weather Service predicts, with wind gusts today of up to 28 miles per hour. Another 2-4 inches on top of last night's snowfall is expected, along with a high around 36 and a low tonight around 23. 

2. Snow emergencies

With heavy snowfall comes the possibility of a snow emergency being declared in the . In the event that happens, the will alert local media and send out notices to everyone who has signed up for the department's alerts (which you can do at farmingtonpublicsafety.com).
