Expect a bit of traffic and excitement in Farmington Hills this morning, as Republican presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney arrives. Here's what else you should know today:

1. The weather

The National Weather Service expects the day to start with rain, followed by a rain/snow mix after 1 p.m., but little or no accumulation. Look for a high around 43 and a low tonight around 26, with winds gusting to 20-22 miles per hour today and tonight.

Stop by today between noon and 11 p.m. to pick up your hunt list for this free event. Tiny fairy doors will be hidden inside and outside Farmington area businesses, and you have until Saturday to find them.

Expect plenty of action on Orchard Lake Rd. south of 10 Mile today, as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney keynotes a luncheon at hosted by the and Livonia chambers of commerce. Gov. Rick Snyder is expected to during the event. The heaviest traffic should occur when the doors open at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., when the event ends.
