If you haven't had lunch at Oakland Community College's student-run restaurant, today's your opportunity. Here's what else you should know:

1. The weather

3. Half-day of school Friday

Farmington Schools students get an afternoon off as teachers have an in-service day on Friday, so buses will be on the road earlier. The half-day also means early movies at the , starting at 1:10 p.m. with the Academy Award-nominated War Horse. Learn more at thefct.com

5. Look ahead:

The Farmington Hills Youth Theater invites children in grades 3-12 to audition for "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" on Sunday, at the . Students should bring a recent school photo. Auditions times are as follows: Grades 3-4, 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.; Grades 5-7, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Grades 8-12, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. Call 248-473-1859 for information.
