1. The weather
The sun will shine today, but temperatures will stay below freezing. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 29 and a low tonight of 24.
2. On the Education Stage
At 7:30 p.m. today, the symphony band and the Farmington Community Band combine on the FHS stage. The groups will perform separately and then combine on stage for a big finale. A program is published on the FCB website.
3. Farmington Hills city council
Officials will meet in a study session at 6 p.m. today in the community room to talk about "City Council Live" cable audience participation, council access to electronic packets and update. The 7:30 p.m. agenda includes reports from the Historic District and Planning Commission, public hearings on a tax abatement for Panasonic Automotive Systems and consideration of an amendment to the city's solicitors/peddlers ordinance.
