1. The weather

Rain will be falling today before 10 a.m., with showers moving out as the day wears on. The National Weather Service predicts a high around 54, with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. The temperature is expected to drop into the mid-20s tonight.

Four Block Empire performs at 7:30 p.m. today, with original music and covers from artists like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Porcupine Tree, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead and other groups that have influenced this four-piece band. You can "Like" them on Facebook

3. Farmington Rotary

Tickets are just $1 to get into this weekly drawing, held after 9 p.m. today at in downtown Farmington. Tickets can be bought at the bar any time, from Farmington Rotary club members, and at the pub on the night of the draw. Along with the fun and chance to win, you're supporting the Rotary's charitable work.

4. Look ahead:

Seniors are welcome to celebrate St. Paddy's Day at the in Farmington Hills on Friday at 11 a.m.  Enjoy a special meal, live band, entertainment, 50/50 raffle and more. Admission is $10. Call 248-473-1840 to learn more.

5. Look ahead:

The American Legion Groves-Walker Post #346 will be rockin' Saturday, with this tournament, which is limited to 120 players ages 21 and older. Visit xemplareuchre.com to register; $35 per player buys you dinner, four adult beverages, free pop and 10 rounds of euchre with different partners at every turn (advance registration required).
