5 Things You Should Know Today - May 10, 2012

The Farmington Hills Planning Commission meets tonight to consider splitting a parcel of city-owned property, among other agenda items.

The weather should be perfect for tonight's Governor Warner Mansion Porch Party, or any other outdoor activity you have planned. Here's what else you should know:

While skies should remain sunny, winds may gust up to 20 miles per hour today. The National Weather Service predicts a high around 64, with a low tonight around 44.

Among the items considered during tonight's meeting is the splitting into four parcels of a city-owned property on Rensselaer. Officials are selling a portion of the property to a c there this summer. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at ; the full agenda is in a PDF attached to this post.

“Toys to Teens and Everything in Between,” features talented skaters, great entertainment, and fun music Friday, 7 p.m., and Saturday, 4 p.m., at the . Skating Club members, Fantasia Synchronized Teams, and Learn-to-Skate students will all perform. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors.
