Closing weekend starts tonight at Farmington Players Barn in Farmington Hills.

A classic stage play begins the end of its run tonight, and a book discussion begins:

1. The weather

Looks like the rain will be with us through today and tonight; the National Weather Service predicts an 80 percent chance of showers through the evening. Heavy rains could lead to flooding in some areas, and falling leaves could clog up sewer grates, so watch out for ponding on the roads. High today is expected to be 53, with a low of 41 tonight.
