5 Things You Should Know Today - Sept. 22, 2011

Look for lots of activity in downtown Farmington today, as organizers prepare for tonight's Harvest Moon celebration kick-off. Let's hope the weather holds for them, and for at 5:30 p.m.:

1. The weather

There's a 20 percent chance of rain today and tonight, but nothing serious. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 67 and a low of 48.

Ken Prather of Prather Investment Management will discuss Fidelity funds, which are commonly held investments, at the tonight. This free event is part of the library's fall investment series, and starts at 7 p.m.

Sample craft beers, fine wines, and meads, along with food pairings prepared by chefs from the Culinary Studies Institute at .
