1. Spotlight Players Present BARNUM

• When: Friday, April 19, 2013, 8:00 pm
• Where: Village Theater at Cherry Hill, 50400 Cherry Hill Rd, Canton
• What: Spotlight Players, a community theater based in Canton, Michigan, presents a rare production of the musical gem Barnum, by Mark Bramble, Michael Stewart, and Cy Coleman. The show will be staged April 19 through 28 at The Village Theater in Canton.

2. St Baldrick's Fundraiser for Children's Cancer

• When: Saturday, April 20, 2013, 12:00 pm
• Where: 1499 E West Maple Rd, Walled Lake
• What: Come on out Saturday, April 20th, Walled Lake Firehouse, 12-4! Opening ceremony will be led by Livonia PD bagpiper Harold Higgins. School of Rock Farmington house band will be performing! Guest speakers, Food & Raffles!

3. Mrs. Mannerly by Jeffrey Hatcher

• When: Friday, April 19, 2013, 8:00 pm
• Where: Tipping Point Theatre, 361 E Cady St, Northville
• What: Inspired by the hilarious memories of a childhood etiquette class, ten-year-old Jeffrey is not good at anything but being polite. Mrs. Mannerly, his demanding teacher, has never had a student in her 36 years of etiquette classes achieve a pefect score in her class. After discovering a secret of Mrs. Mannerly’s past, Jeffrey faces off with his classmates as he maneuvers his way toward the top to try to take the grand prize! This witty comedy of manners shows the difference between how we present ourselves and who we really are.

4. Career Dress Clothing Drive

• When: Saturday, April 20, 2013, 10:00 am
• Where: Lolly Ella Jewelry, 6706 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield
• What: Career Dress program of the Lighthouse of Oakland County assists at need women who are hoping to enter the work force. Destination Style in Southfield, Be Free Apparel  in W. Bloomfield and Lolly Ella Jewelry in W. Bloomfield have teamed up to host a career dress clothing drive to support the work of Career Dress.  Donations of gently used women’s clothing are requested. Clothing requested should be no older than five years, suitable for women aged  18 – 25, clean and on hangers. Matching pant suits, solid color shells or tanks; blouses, jackets, slacks, purses, jewelry, close toe shoes, coats, hats, gloves, lotions and perfumes.

5. Mom to Mom Sale hosted by Sunny Day Care

• When: Saturday, April 20, 2013, 8:30 am
• Where: Sunny Day Care & Montessori, 33200 Slocum Dr, Farmington
• What: Sunny Day Care & Montessori is excited to offer you our very first Mom to Mom Sale featuring 25 tables of gently-used baby, kids' and maternity clothes as well as children's books and toys at great bargain prices. We will also have a bake sale full of yummy treats to snack on while you shop. We will also have a Large Item Room including items for sale such as cribs, strollers, play houses, etc.
