Businesses in Farmington, Hills Support Holiday Food Drives
To help those less fortunate, drop off your food or cash donations at these locations.
If helping others is on your list this holiday season, remember these businesses are making it easy for you to contribute to local charities:
Continuing a tradition that is more than 20 years old, Busch's Fresh Food Market will support Gleaners Food Bank with a drive that ends Nov. 23. At the store entrance in Farmington Hills, you'll find $10 pre-packaged donation bags. You may also drop off non-perishable food donations at a bin inside the store, make cash donations at the register, or purchase $5 and $10 gift cards for produce or meats.
Donate non-perishable food items, new and unwrapped toys or cash to the Farmington Area Goodfellows holiday drive while you're seeing a free movie at the Civic during Holly Days in downtown Farmington Dec 3. The movie schedule and other details are published today on our site.

Attend a performance of "Excerpts from The Nutcracker Ballet" on Dec. 4 at the Farmington Civic Theater, and the $15 you pay for admission will go directly to the Farmington Area Goodfellows holiday drive. Positive Attitude is presenting the benefit performance with Curtain Call Dance of Canton. Tickets are available at at Positive Attitude Dance Academy, 23020 Power Rd. just north of Grand River or Curtain Call Dance, 41719 Joy Rd. in Canton. You may also call 248-476-2099.
