County Exec Among Presenters at Outreach Conference

More than 15 speakers will urge participants to get involved in their communities.

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and Deputy County Executive and CIO Phil Bertolini will be among the presenters at Leadership Oakland’s Action Speaks! Community Outreach Conference 2011.

The event will be held 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 8, at Smith Theater on in Farmington Hills.

The conference is designed to inform, inspire and motivate participants to get engaged and make a difference in their communities. More than 15 speakers will cover issues such as local government, media influence, business and entrepreneurship, public education and health care services.
