Enjoy Winter Activities at the Nature Center in Farmington Hills

Take a walk in the woods, explore animal tracks and homes.

Whether you love a walk in the woods or want to share an activity with the kids, the has you covered this winter.

Stop by the Center, located in , on Tuesdays and Thursdays for programs designed especially for children. A story and craft are on the agenda Tuesdays at 2 p.m., and families will enjoy a nature-themed movie on Thursdays at 11 a.m. The fun starts on Jan. 10 and runs through March 1. There's no charge and no need to register, but classes are limited to the first 25 people. 

Enjoy a winter woodlands walk on Jan. 21, 1 p.m., that includes an exploration of Heritage Park and a craft for children to take home. Cost is $2, and you can register online, https://recreg.fhgov.com.
