Families New to Farmington Schools Invited to Orientation

Four morning and evening sessions will be held in September.

Farmington Public Schools will offer its first New Family Orientation sessions in September.

Sessions will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., at the Ten Mile Administrative Center, 32789 W. 10 Mile Road, (between Farmington and Power Roads).

Families will learn about the District's vision, beliefs, opportunities, and goals. Other information covered will include contacting and communicating with teachers/administrators; technology; transportation; nutrition services; extracurricular activities; safety and security; school climate; disciplinary protocol; open house and conference schedules; and parent organizations and support.
