Farmington Area Kids Invited to Play 'Biggest Twister Game in History'
Nonprofit Peace Love & Planet needs more than 100 kids to participate in the filming of 'Be the Solution' at Heritage Park.
On Monday, Farmington Public Schools students who have a half-day off are invited to take part in the filming of "Be the Solution," a new film series produced by local non-profit Peace Love & Planet (PLP).
More than 100 kids are needed for the upbeat and inspirational films that will feature them promoting eco-friendly behaviors. According to PLP founder Gina Adams-Levy, the films will show kids teaching peers why it is important to be active and how to incorporate simple, eco-friendly habits.
According to an event flyer, kids will participate in the largest Twister game in history, enjoy a "seriously enormous" Earth Ball and can audition for a featured role. Kids should wear green; the first 100 will receive a t-shirt.
