Farmington Civic Theater Hosts Michigan Premiere of 'Little Red Wagon'

The inspirational movie is based on the inspiring real-life story of Zach Bonner, who began a life of philanthropy at age 8.

The Farmington Civic Theatre will on Friday, Dec. 14, be the first movie house in Michigan to show the inspiring film Little Red Wagon, which shares the story of young philanthropist Zach Bonner.

In 2004, 8-year-old Zach began collecting items from neighbors in his little red wagon, to help victims of Hurricane Charley in Florida. As he saw a greater need, he expanded his efforts and focused on the plight of homeless children.

The movie shows how Zach's drive to expand his efforts affects his family and drives home the importance of those efforts with a parallel story about a neighboring family's fall into, and struggle with, homelessness.
