Farmington Hills Man Finishes 2nd in World Series of Poker

MLive.com and other outlets report Nemer Haddad earns $479K in the championship event.

Nemer Haddad of Farmington Hills took home $479,521 as the second place winner in this past weekend's World Series of Poker, MLive.com reports.

Reporter Josh Slagter includes a list of Michigan participants, their placement in the tournament and winnings in his story, which was published late Friday night.

Pokernews.com published a live blog of the final round played in Las Vegas, reporting that Haddad took home "more than 350 times his original investment."
