UPDATED: Farmington Hills Police Shut Down a Local Teen's 'Project M' House Party

A Twitter post announcing a party at a home on Briarwyke goes viral, WDIV reports.

"Farmington Hills" started trending on Twitter today, after a local teen's post about a house party went viral.

WDIV-TV reported this morning that sent 10 squad cars to a home on Briarwyke as people began trying to get inside at around 9 a.m. The party was apparently inspired by the movie Project X, a comedy-drama about three friends who plan a house party that spins out of control.

The news report indicated the house is in foreclosure, and the teens "knew they had access" to it.
