Winter storm shuts down local schools.
A winter storm that is wrapping up this morning has given Farmington public and private school kids another snow day.

According to highschoolsports.net, tonight's crosstown boys basketball game, at , has been Postponed to Feb. 25, 2011. The boys basketball game at Pontiac High has been postponed to Feb. 26.

Last night, the announced a snow emergency, effective at 8:30 p.m., requiring residents to move vehicles off the streets. According to weather.com, this winter storm has dumped nearly 8 inches of snow on Farmington and Farmington Hills since 3 p.m. Sunday.
