Farmington Volunteer Needed to Help Plan Free Health Fair and More
A position is available on the Farmington Area Commission on Aging.
Are you looking for an opportunity to get involved in your community and make a difference? The Farmington Area Commission on Aging is seeking a new member to fill one position that is currently available.
Current projects of the Commission on Aging include conducting presentations on consumer issues, hosting Project Healthy Living, and publishing a Resource Directory.
The position is open to an adult Farmington resident who is interested in issues of importance to Farmington area older adults. The Commission's main goals are to:

Play an advisory role for area older adults

Act as a source for referral

Provide education and advocacy
Create community awareness
Encourage recognition for older adults’ past and present contributions
