Farmington's Warner Mansion Hosts Ghost Walk

Ghostly characters will impart information about historic funeral and mourning customs.

Go back in time and learn about mourning customs at the "Ghost Walk", held Friday, Oct. 14, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Meet ghostly members of the Warner family, including Michigan's only three-term governor Fred Warner, as they talk about their lives and deaths, including mourning traditions, clothing customs, and superstitions. Watch for some special guests at a mourning meal in the dining room. 

You may even want to bring heat sensors along to try and detect any otherworldly beings around the house on this special moon-lit night. 

Outside, in the dark corners of the Mansion grounds, there will be storytellers, a food vendor and a cozy fire pit. Coffins and a hearse will be provided by in Farmington.

Diane Rothman, of , assisted by guidance messsenger Pinky, will be stationed in the gazebo, talking about spiritual guides. Card readings will be offered, for an additional charge.
