First Thing: Farmington Kids Rock Out on YouTube

Students from Farmington School of Rock braved 40-degree weather to play a set outdoors.

We've found a YouTube.com channel that rocks with music by Farmington-area student musicians.

Head over to acer1778's channel, and you'll find videos that feature School of Rock students. In the video with this post, the band takes on Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll", outdoors in 40 degree weather.

Tonight, the Queen of Hearts Raffle heats up at John Cowley & Sons, with a jackpot that has grown to more than $17,000. Farmington Rotary, Xemplar Club, Botsford Hospital and Farmington High Music Patrons members are all selling $1 tickets for the 9 p.m. drawing. Tickets will be available the night of the drawing.
