Why go: The entertaining Broadway musical will not only include Mercy's talented thespians, but also 10 male Mercy High staffers, most of whom will be making their stage debut.

Why go: Lots of great vendors, as usual, and this is the second-to-last Winter Market of the season.

Why go: What's not to love about this event? Tickets include dinner, pop, four drink tickets, prizes and all the fun you can stand. Plus, proceeds support at-risk children, families and seniors in Farmington and Farmington Hills.

Pricing: $35 preregister online, $40 at the door.

Why go: Learn more about an organization that exists to be of service to the community, and make a few new friends in the process.

Why go: The Zonta Club of Farmington/Novi's 17th Annual Fundraiser for First Step at Parisian at Laurel Park combines fundraising for a great cause with after-hours discounted shopping, fashion and entertainment, plus a strolling supper.

Pricing: $20 in advance; $25 at the door.
