Gov. Snyder to Visit Farmington Hills March 25

The Greater Farmington Area and Livonia Chambers host Michigan's governor at Farmington Manor.

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder will be the featured speaker at a joint gathering hosted by the and the Livonia Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 25.

“We are thrilled the Governor decided to visit our community to share his vision for the state,” said Mary Engelman, executive director for the Greater Farmington Area Chamber. “As a result of our ongoing efforts to partner with the Livonia Chamber, this event gives our business communities a unique opportunity to hear directly from Governor Snyder, early in his administration.”

The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce has served both Farmington and Farmington Hills since 2009; the Livonia Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1950. They have a combined membership of nearly 1,400 members and have conducted several joint networking events.

“Each Chamber focuses on representing our respective business communities, but by combining our efforts, we are able to provide some unique opportunities – like this luncheon,” said Dan West, president of the Livonia Chamber. “This is wonderful for the Farmington and Livonia memberships to network and learn more about our new Governor.”

Presented by , Bright House Networks, and Robert Bosch LLC, the luncheon will be held at Farmington Manor, on Orchard Lake Road between Grand River Avenue and Ten Mile Road. Tickets are $30 for members of either chamber, $45 for non-members. About 600 seats will be available for this event.
