Headed to the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market Today?

You'll find a yoga demonstration (no mat required), scarecrow and apple pie judging.

It's a big day at the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market, with activities that include scarecrow and pie contest winner announcements and a yoga demonstration. 

Located at the in downtown Farmington, the market is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a wide variety of vendors selling Michigan-made products and produce. At 11 a.m., the Farmers Market Apple Pie contest winners will be announced, and at 1 p.m., you'll find out who won the annual Scarecrow Contest.

Silver Tree Yoga will be holding a yoga class starting at 10:15 a.m., with no mats required. Silver Tree classes offer a flow of postures that develop strength, balance, flexibility and poise. Awareness, creativity and grace are key aspects of their instruction; gently helping students find their strength – both inside and out.

Music at the Market features The Two Timers, lead vocalist and guitarist Lenny Earls and lead guitarist Rob Renirie, playing a mix of acoustic rock and country from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
