Here's How to Recycle Holiday Cards, Wrapping Paper and Trees

Farmington area residents can put some cards and wrapping papers in with their recyclable paper.

After the holiday celebrations are over, the City of Farmington Hills reminds residents that cards, wrapping paper and trees can be recycled.

According to a city press release, holiday cards and wrapping paper can go in your recycling cart loosely or in a brown paper bag with newspapers and junk mail. Any cards or wrapping paper with glitter or metallics are not recyclable and should go in with the regular trash.

Aluminum holiday cookie tins and lids can also go in your recycling cart.
