Holocaust Memorial Center Event Takes on Bullying

Speakers discuss signs, symptoms and solutions for those dealing with bullies.

About 60 people, from teens to adults, attended a Sunday symposium on bullying, held at the in Farmington Hills.

The 7th Annual International Symposium, co-sponsored by the Michigan Council for Social Studies, featured guest speakers Tara Michener, author of books for children and teens and diversity consultant; developmental psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Barton, an associate professor (research) at Wayne State University; and Michigan State University School of Social Work clinical instructor Glenn Stutzky.
