Location, Location, Location

To most of us, the most important things about a home's location are whether or not we'll feel comfortable living in the area, if the neighborhood's "feel" is a good match and if the location works well with our various commutes.

This week, we narrowed our house hunt down by ZIP code. You can do the same when searching online for possibilities. You'll find homes listed here in Farmington Hills' 48335 ZIP code, which includes the southwest neighborhoods, and in West Bloomfield Township's 48322 ZIP code, which is also in the southwest corner of that area.

Birmingham, of course, has only one ZIP code: 48009. The homes featured here are all within a mile or two of the downtown area.
