Look for a Weekend Detour at Middlebelt and Grand River

The Oakland County Water Resources Commission will be repairing a sewer line.

The Oakland County Water Resources Commission (WRC) is planning to repair a stretch of sewer under Middlebelt Rd. at the intersection with Grand River Ave. in Farmington Hills.

The work is expected to start at approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 and be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, March 28.

The work will involve accessing the sewer through a manhole located in the middle of the Grand River/Middlebelt intersection. Traffic on Grand River will not be affected, but northbound and southbound traffic on Middlebelt will be unable to travel through the intersection.
