Mom Talk: Breast-feeding
The U.S. surgeon general calls on the nation to support breast-feeding moms.
U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin said in her "Call to Action to Support Breastfeeding" that while 75 percent of moms start out breast-feeding, only 13 percent continue through the infant's first six months.
Her call to action outlines steps that can be taken to remove some of the obstacles faced by women who want to breast-feed their babies.
