More Than 1,000 Without Power in Farmington, Hills
High winds have left many people in the dark Saturday morning.
High winds blowing throughout Michigan on Friday night have left more than 1,300 customers without power in Farmington and Farmington Hills, according to the DTE Energy outage map.
The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Watch Friday, which ended Saturday morning. Yet, gusts of up to 40 mph are still possible Saturday.
Winds Friday night and into Saturday morning reached as high as 60 mph, according to the NWS.
