National Weather Service Issues Special Statement About Icy Roads

Temperatures fall into the 20s tonight, freezing the water on the roads from today's rain.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a special statement, warning about slick roads tonight.

Snow is expected to taper off, but temperatures have fallen into the 20s, freezing water on the roads from today's rain. About an inch of snow has fallen in downtown Farmington, and snowfall is expected to taper off after 10 p.m.

NWS expects Sunday's high to reach 34 degrees, under partly sunny skies.
