No Trash Collection Thanksgiving Day, Yard Waste Collection Ends
Trash and recycling collection moves a day because of the national holiday.
Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection in Farmington and Farmington Hills will not be picked up on Thursday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Garbage pickup will be delayed one day, with Thursday’s collection made on Friday and Friday’s collection made on Saturday. Monday through Wednesday collections will not be affected, and regular routes resume on Nov. 26.
To ensure pickup, please have your garbage at the curbside by 7 a.m.

Yard waste pickup will end on regularly scheduled pickup days during the week of November 26-30. Any yard waste accumulated after that week should be stored until spring pickup resumes in early April 2013.
