The meme, or rapidly spreading Internet concept, started with a professionally produced video called "Sh*t Girls Say", based on a Twitter account that now has 1.3 million followers.

Zecharia spent a day coming up with one-liners like "I can't believe The Family Buggy closed, now I'm out of a job" and "You know was designed to look like a prison?", then shot the video over two days at locations around Farmington and Farmington Hills, with the help of his brother Joseph, a North Farmington sophomore.

Paul Zecharia said he picked up some video experience working with TV-10,  educational channel, while a student at North. But he has wanted to be in the film industry since he was 9 or 10 years old.

"I was watching a lot of movies, and I just felt like I wanted to do that, too," he said.

On his YouTube channel, Zecharia has weighed in on the popular book and movie The Hunger Games, the Academy Awards and Superbowl commercials. "Sh*t Farmington Hills People Say" has been one of his biggest hits, he said.

Reaction has been largely positive; the video has 41 "thumbs up" votes. Thus far, he hasn't had anyone come up to him and complain.

And, Zacharia added, "My mom's proud of me."
