UPDATED: Power's Out at Power, Gill
Regular electrical service is out, but the schools are operating on back-up power.
UPDATE: According to DTE Energy's Outage Center, as of 5 p.m., power has been restored to and , as well as residences north of Heritage Park.
Both schools operated on back-up power, and classes went on as usual.
Early this afternoon, minor power outages occurred in an area of Farmington Hills just north of Heritage Park, as well as the area west of Gill Road between Eight and Nine Mile Roads. A representative from DTE Energy said the power outages were minor and had no information about the cause or estimated time of repair.
