Power's Out for 1,600+ Farmington, Hills Residents
The largest outage is in an area east of Orchard Lake Rd.
Small pockets of power outages are scattered across Farmington and Farmington Hills this afternoon, with more than 1,600 homes affected in an area east of Orchard Lake Rd.
DTE Energy reports power went off around 2 p.m. for residents who live between Orchard Lake and Middlebelt Roads, from just south of 11 Mile Rd. to a few blocks south of 10 Mile Rd. The power company expects to restore service to some areas by this evening; others may be off until tomorrow evening.
