Presidents Day: What's Open, What's Not
Farmington Hills city offices close for the holiday; Farmington city offices do not.
Monday is Presidents Day, which means many government offices and banking institutions will be closed, generally speaking.
However, while city offices in will be closed for the federal holiday, will be open. Farmington City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at City Hall.
Garbage and recycling pickup in both cities will take place on regularly scheduled pickup days Monday and throughout the week.

Branches of the U.S. Post Office in and will be closed for the holiday. Both have Automated Postal Centers, which allow customers to weigh and purchase postage for letters and packages by using a credit or debit card.
