Rainbow Awards Breakfast Slated March 20, Reservations Due March 12

Michigan Dept. of Civil Rights director Daniel Krichbaum is the event's keynote speaker.

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Multicultural Multiracial Community Council (MCMR) will host the Annual Rainbow Recognition Awards Breakfast on Tuesday, March 20 at 7:30 a.m. at the  in Farmington Hills.

The Rainbow Recognition Awards honor members of the community who have taken an active role in promoting human relations. These awards, given annually by the Multicultural/Multiracial Community Council (MCMR), are intended to honor individuals of any age who have actively promoted racial/cultural understanding in the community. 

The keynote speech at the Awards Breakfast will be given by Daniel J. Krichbaum, Executive Director for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. Entertainment will be provided by the Brandon Grant Jazz Trio Band, students from Farmington Public Schools.

Tickets to the Rainbow Recognition Awards Breakfast are $15 per person.
