Ready for Thanksgiving? 5 Area Stores that will be Open on Thanksgiving

Normally we do a countdown of activities to help you plan for your next weekend's adventures, but with Thanksgiving just ahead, we thought we'd help you scope out ways to celebrate the holiday close to home.

This year some retail stores have decided to open earlier than the wee hours of Black Friday. These stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day.

In case you want to see a movie, the will be open on Thanksgiving. The Help will play at 6:30 p.m., Contagion at 7 p.m., Colombiana at 9:05 p.m., and Sarah's Key at 9:15 p.m. is open on Thanksgiving Day, starting at 11:25 a.m. with Arthur Christmas. For a complete listing, visit their website.
