Santa Helps Farmington Area Jaycees Light 14-Foot Christmas Tree

A large crowd of excited children welcomed Santa to the Governor Warner Mansion Saturday.

After listening to children's wishes during Holly Days Saturday, Santa made a second visit in Farmington, at the Governor Warner Mansion.

Santa helped the Farmington Area Jaycees light a 14-foot Christmas tree, donated by Trident Trees and on display in the Mansion's gazebo. Families ushered him into the gathering with a rousing chorus of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," led by students from School of Rock in Farmington.

With the lighted tree behind them, Santa helped Jaycee Kristin Garstka read "A Visit From St. Nicholas ('Twas the Night Before Christmas)". He then moved to the mansion porch to listen to children's Christmas wishes.
