Sights and Sounds: International Coffee House in Farmington Hills

Singers, dancers and a storyteller entertained during the first Heritage Week event Wednesday.

On a cold, rainy Wednesday night, families gathered at in Farmington Hills for an International Coffee House. The choir, dancers and storyteller Rosie Chapman entertained an appreciative, if small, audience.

The event was the first held during the 12th annual Heritage Week, organized by the Multicultural Multiracial Community Council (MCMR). At 7 p.m. on Thursday, MCMR will host a free book discussion at the . On Friday at noon, a panel discussion, "Engaging Suburban Students in Dialogues on Diversity" will be held at . Cost for the lunch is $10.
