Learn about road closures, boil water alerts and more through messages sent to your cell phone.

Sign up for notices about emergencies, road closures and more through the City of Farmington Hills Text Notification System.

Messages will have a 160-character maximum and will feature a tagline showing that they were officially sent from the City of Farmington Hills. An additional service, with a separate subscriber list, will offer text messages about Parks and Recreation cancellation notices and field closures. Learn how to get the notifications at fhgov.com.

Greek Islands Bar & Grill open at Farmington Hills Golf Club

Greek Islands, featuring homemade from scratch Greek and American meals, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant features live music Thursday and Friday evenings.

Farmington Hills named Tree City USA

The City of Farmington Hills has been named a Tree City USA, recognizing its commitment to urban forestry with a tree preservation ordinance, comprehensive community forestry program and annual Arbor Day observance. A tree will be dedicated at the 47th District Court in observance of Arbor Day on Friday, April 26. Learn more on at fhgov.com.
