This week, you'll get a chance. Swinginfusion is hosting a dance event Thursday that features live music by Ann Arbor-based Rampage Swing and swing dancing lessons. The fun starts with the lessons at 8 p.m., and the cost is $5.

Alexander Steward told Farmington City Council members in July that Swinginfusion was founded in Farmington in 2007 to bring back the dance form popular in the 1920s. There are now groups in Brighton, Utica, Fenton, Redford and Commerce.
