T-Minus 5 Days to the Downtown Farmington Founders Festival

The Farmington Masonic Lodge offers food, crafters and a chance to protect your child.

If you've been to the Founders Festival in the past, you know all about the food stand in the northwest corner of Grand River and Farmington Rd. Did you know it's operated by the ?

The Masons will be back for this year's Festival, July 15-17 in downtown Farmington, offering popcorn, drinks, snow cones, cotton candy and more on the corner all three days. But there's more going on in and outside of their historic hall:

Eastern Star Bake Sale: Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. inside the building.

Barbecue: The Masons are cooking up ribs, chicken, burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and side dishes. Friday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. outside the building.

Crafters: Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. outside the building.

Michigan Masonic Child I.D. Protection Program: This valuable program provides families with everything needed for the Amber Alert System and is considered one of the most comprehensive programs of its kind by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Each child who goes through the process will receive a dental impression as well as a CD containing a photo, video, digital fingerprints and other vital information. Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. under the Pavilion.
