Upgrade Your Keyboard Skills at the Farmington Community Library

The library has acquired the 'Type to Learn' software program.

Thanks to funding from the Farmington Friends of the Library, Farmington and Farmington Hills residents can work on their typing skills through a new software program.

Farmington and Farmington Hills residents can stop by the or adult or children’s desks to register as a Type to Learn student. You'll work through a series of lessons and learning games to build typing skills.

Type to Learn provides a fun, graphics-rich environment where students become an “Agent of Information” to free the world from the perils of misinformation, including typing errors. Students with a personal computer with at least 1.5 gigabytes of free space can download this program to use outside of the Library.
